Eucalyptus arachnaea, commonly known as the black-stemmed mallee, is a mallee or tree that is endemic to Western Australia. It has rough, stringy bark, lance-shaped leaves and white flowers in groups of up to thirteen.
Flowers occur with many slender buds forming a spidery cluster to 1.8 cm long opening to creamy white flowers in January or April to May in its native range.
Endemic to the Avon Wheatbelt, Geraldton Sandplains, Jarrah Forest and Swan Coastal Plains regions of Western Australia.
Adaptable to variety of sandy, clay & loam soils, gravel, laterite or granite.
