Blue Africian Lily (Agapanthus orientalis) 50 Seeds

Lots of  rich blue flowers held above long sturdy stems make a bold statement in a midsummer border. This African Lily also looks dramatic in large tubs positioned on patios, or when planted in groups or as a low dense hedge/border. This is a very versatile plant, and is extremely hardy. A lot of council and community gardens use these plants due to their hardiness and drought tolerance abilities.

Grow these plants in free draining soil, and even though they are drought tolerant, it doesn't hurt to give them a water during their growing season, you will only be rewarded by their beautiful presence when they flower. They can be grown in full sun to part shade. They reach a height of 1.2m (4ft) and spread 60cm (24in). The flowering season is mid to late summer.
