Created near the Belgian city of Brussels during the 1500s, this variety of Brussel Sprouts has been grown in most places across Australia. Resembling mini cabbages, the brussel sprouts have long been the bane of many childhoods. Harvest periods vary widely due to the range of climates although the prime temperature is between 15-18°C. Harvests range around 90-180 days.
