Fresco Dahlia Mix ( Dahlia x hybrida ) is a beautiful annual flower that produces semi-double to double blooms. This particular variety is a dwarf and produces flowers that include red, violet, yellow, white and rose. Fresco Dahlia Mix is also a bit shorter than other Dahlias which makes them an early bloomer. They enjoy warmer temperatures and can be grown either in pots or in directly into the garden. Dahlias can often bloom continuously throughout the warmer months. Suitable for Temperate, Sub Tropical and Tropical climates. Dahlias are grown in all corners of Australia and make beautiful border plants.

In 1963 the Dahlia was declared the national flower of Mexico.
Spaniards reported finding Dahlias growing in Mexico in 1525.
In 1824, Lord Holland sent his wife a note containing the following verse:
