Monterey Pine Seeds . 
 
HOW TO GROW MONTEREY PINE :

Step 1
Place Pine seeds into a plastic bag and label it with the date. Put the bag into the fridge for 4-6 weeks.
Step 2
After 8 weeks, sow each seed on top of the soil mixture. Soil may include any of  peat moss, vermiculite or perlite. Seed trays are preferred. Cover seeds lightly and moisten the tray. Allow 2-4 weeks to see seedlings sprout.
Step 3
Transplant when plants reach 10-15cm in height. Move to full sun position but away from frost. Water regularly during first summer.
Step 4
The final resting position should be in full sun. Keep base mulched until at least 1 metre high. Once established requires little water. Monterey Pines take 8-10 years to fully mature.
