HOW TO GROW PERSIAN CATMINT :
Step 1
Sow directly into ground or small pots. Keep indoors a month before last frost. Leave moist in bright sunny position.Step 2
Don’t allow the soil to dry out. Seeds should germinate after 2-3 weeks.Step 3
Space seedlings roughly one foot apart. Don’t overwater during transplanting.Step 4
Final position should be in part sun where the plant receives morning sun and afternoon shade. Persian Catmint takes anywhere between 9-15 months to flower depending on when they are sown.

Persian Catmint is said to be native to modern day Iran but the Nepeta genus is native to all of Asia, Africa and Europe.
Like catnip, Persian Catmint attracts cats and attracts bees and hummingbirds.
Catmint is used as an ornamental for its beautiful lavender flowers. Although cats do love Catmint they are more likely to go crazy over Catnip.
