HOW TO GROW EUCALYPTUS :
Step 1
Sow the seeds onto surface of seed raising mix. Lightly cover and moisten with a light spray. Leave in a light position out of direct sunlight.Step 2
Needs a warm spot, so if its winter, keep indoors. Seeds should germinate after 3-4 weeks.Step 3
Once sprouted, move tray/pot to sunny position. Transplant seedlings when roughly 20cm. A medium pot is ok, but can also go into ground. As it is fast growing, a support is recommended. Use a bamboo or wooden stake.Step 4
Transplant to final position after a last frost. Once established, will survive mild cold but requires regular watering. Forest Red Gum trees can take 10-15 years to fully mature.
