Organic Musk Mallow Seeds .
Musk Mallow is a perennial shrub with palmate shaped leaves. It grows to approximately 1.5 to 2 metres tall and up to a metre wide. The flowers are quite pretty, they usually have a light yellow coloured petal with a deep burgundy colour in the centre, but petals can also be pink or red.
Native to tropical areas, it has been introduced to both sub-tropical and temperate regions as it will tolerate some frost. Best grown in full sun; as it doesn't do well in the shade. Plants can die back in the dry seasons but will pop back up as the rain begins again.
Musk Mallow is known for it's musky smell, use in perfumes, as an essential oil and as a medicinal plant too - but it also has many culinary uses.
