White Fig Tree Seeds .
HOW TO GROW FIG TREES :
Step 1
Place Fig seeds in some water and leave for 24 hours to help break seed dormancy.Step 2
Fill a small pot with seed raising mix. Sow each seed in the centre of a pot and cover lightly. Use a mist spray to moisten so seed is not disturbed. Leave in a warm, sunny location. Seeds should germinate after 4-6 weeks.Step 3
Transplant seedlings a week after sprouting. Keep in a small-medium pot until after first winter so plant can be moved to avoid frost.Step 4
Transplant to final position after last frost. Once established, will survive some cold if mulched well at the base. Additional water advised when fruiting. Fig Trees usually take between 3-6 years to fully mature.
