HOW TO GROW JAPANESE MUSTARD GREENS :
Step 1
Grow from early Spring to late Summer or at the beggining of Autumn in pots or straight into the garden. Use a well draining potting or seed raising mix and sow seeds 2-3 cm (1 inch) apart and approximately 1-2 mm deep. Water gently and keep moist during the entire germination period. Can tolerate light frost once established Ideal temperature for germination is 14-20°C/58-70°F In ideal conditions germination should begin within 1 week.Step 2
Mustard greens take approximately 6-8 weeks to be ready for harvest. When harvesting take the larger leaves from the outside first, allowing the smaller inside leaves to grow for a continual harvest. The leaves will grow spicier and hotter as the plant gets larger.
