HOW TO GROW ICEPLANT :

Step 1
Prepare small pots or seed tray with a seed raising mix and moisten. Sow seeds on the surface and cover lightly. Leave pot/s in a position where they get some early morning sun.
Step 2
Lightly water but don’t flood as they can be prone to rot. Seeds should germinate after 2-3 weeks.
Step 3
Transplant seedlings a week after sprouting. Separate seedlings and leave them where they will receive more sun. They can either be transplanted into the ground or kept in a pot. If indoors, be sure they are near a windowsill where they can get plenty of light.
Step 4
Once established, will some frost and not require much watering. Don’t overwater. The Iceplants life cycle can be completed within 3-6 months.

Crystal Iceplant is a prostrate native to Africa and southern Europe.
Iceplant seeds and leaves are edible while the crushed leaves can be used as a soap substitute and has some medicinal uses.
Iceplants flower from spring to early summer. Flowers open in the morning and close at night.
