Dahlia Harlequin Mix Seeds . 
 
Harlequin Dahlias produce gorgeous 5-8cm flowers all through summer and make pretty borders or potted plants. Native to Mexico and Central America where they get lots of sun and consistently warm temperatures. This particular mix includes white, yellow, scarlet, violet and orange flowers and grow to around 35cm (14 inches). Easy to grow and maintain, Dahlias will flower continuously throughout the hottest months.

In 1963 the Dahlia was declared the national flower of Mexico. 
Spaniards reported finding Dahlias growing in Mexico in 1525.
In 1824, Lord Holland sent his wife a note containing the following verse:
“The dahlia you brought to our isle Your praises for ever shall speak; Mid gardens as sweet as your smile, And in color as bright as your cheek.”
