HOW TO GROW BURFLOWER TREES :

Step 1
Place the seeds into lukewarm water and leave to soak for 24 hours.

Step 2
Once soaked, sow each seed about 3mm into seed trays of a humus rich soil and sand mix (approx 20% sand). Moisten and and cover with glass or plastic wrap to maintain humidity, then move into warm, well lit location. Ideally soil should be kept warm around 20°C + (70°F+). Do not allow soil to dry out! Seeds should germinate after 3-4 weeks.

Step 3
Once sprouted, allow some air to circulate by opening a corner from the glass/plastic wrap. Gradually remove glass/wrap completely once at least two true leaves are developed and moved to sunny position.  Can also be transplanted carefully at this stage Keep in small-medium pot until after first winter.

Step 4
Transplant to final position once strong enough and must be after last frost has passed.  Once established, will survive some cold and not require much watering. Kadam takes between 4-5 years to fully mature.
