Bolbitis Sp. 'Dragon Tail'
For sale is one of a number of portions of Bolbitis Dragon tail, sold bare root each portion is approx 5-15 cm in height with 3-4 leaves. 
 
 
Bolbitis dragon tail is a new and relatively undescribed species. It appears to have more in common with microsorum (java fern species) than the regular bolbitis we are all used to. it grows pups (baby plants) from all areas of the plant, including broken leaves and browning sections. This is in stark contrast to bolbitis heudelotii which will drop any damaged leaves and produce new plants by expansion and division.
 
 
In terms of water parameters, it seems to be quite tolerant of all basic plant keeping conditions, appreciating a bit of water flow and does not like being placed right under bright light without transitioning to it. 
 
 
Having leaves similar to that of Bolbitis Heteroclita with its triple splayed shape but slimmer and longer this species can attain length of around 25cm but often stays a little more compact.
