HOW TO GROW KIWI FRUIT :

Step 1
Place the seeds into a plastic zip-lock with garden soil, write the date and place bag into the fridge for 8 weeks.
Step 2
After 8 weeks, sow each seed about 3mm into seed trays of sandy soil. Moisten and then move into part sun position. Seeds should germinate after 3-4 weeks. 
Step 3
Once sprouted, move tray to sunny position. Transplant seedlings when 10-15cm in height. Keep in a small-medium pot until after first winter.
Step 4
Transplant to final position after last frost. Once established, will survive severe cold. Additional water advised when fruiting. Kiwi Plants can take between 5-6 years to begin fruiting.

Kiwi Fruit is a native of China and is tolerant of frost.
In 2006, Italy surpassed New Zealand as the world’s largest producer of Kiwi Fruit.
After Kiwi Fruit plants mature,the vine can continue to produce fruit for around 50 years.
