Prostrate Banksia (Banksia petiolaris) 5 Seeds

 

 

Banksia petiolaris is a prostrate shrub that has spreading horizontal stems.
The leathery leaves are long and narrow with serrated edges, and grow upright from the stem and can reach 60cm in length.

 


It produces yellow spikes of flowers in late spring and early summer.
The plant does not have a lignotuber and regenerates from seed after bush fire.
The fruit is a woody cone with up to 20 follicles containing the seeds.

Packet contains 5 fresh seeds.
