HOW TO GROW CREPE MYRTLE :
Step 1
Sow 2-3 seeds 5mm deep into a seed tray or small pots moist seed-raising mix. Leave in a shady but bright position.Step 2
Keep soil moist at the beginning. Requires part sun during germination. Seeds should germinate after 4 weeks.Step 3
Once established seedlings are very hardy. Protect during the first winter either indoors or by using mulch.Step 4
Use stakes to support as tree grows quickly. Final position requires full sun. Crape Myrtles take between 2-3 years to flower.

Width: up to 3 metres (10 feet)
A leaf poultice is used to relief malarial fever and is also applied on cracked feet
The leaves of the Crape Myrtle and other parts are widely used in the Philippines, Taiwan, and Japan as a tea preparation.
In India, the wood is used for railroad sleepers and the construction of furniture, wagons, and buildings.
